Footnotes
FIRE PIT broke inward bumping BEAU CIEL, corrected and was firmly rated prompting the pace outside that one into and around the first turn, eased back off rivals past the five eighths to track, tipped out and bid three deep around the far turn, dueled then moved clear past the five sixteenths, eagerly opened up under pressure in mid stretch then held sway while kept alert to the wire. LORDLY , under a snug hold in range and towards the inside early on, checked sharply near the five eighths, regrouped and advanced inside leaving the three eighths, worked outward nearing the lane, straightened and closed gamely. BARBADIAN RUNNER , bumped at the break, was checked in close around the first turn, checked again in some traffic leaving the five eighths, dropped back and saved ground into the lane, eased out to work between foes past mid stretch, shifted in and kept on with effort gain. DATS MR. TAP steadied at the break, regrouped to rate and save ground, tapped the brakes near the five eighths, gained inside past the three eighths, eased out to chase then flattened out late. ALL THE HARDWAYS broke outward bumping a rival, guided in some early, ranged up four deep to threaten into the far turn, chased the leaders past the five sixteenths then came up empty late between rivals. JUS TOO FLY , three wide between runners early, steadied lightly near the five sixteenths, shifted out wide and offered a mild run. NOTMYFIRSTRODEO , keyed up and very difficult to settle while appearing to want to get out early, pulled his way forward three wide past the five eighths then joined BEAY CIEL from the outside, vied between runners into the far turn, checked near the five sixteenths, dropped back some then went even through the lane. BEAU CIEL , bumped at the break, regrouped and eagerly took command, drifted out a bit nearing the first turn, set the pace towards the inner rail, handled outer pressure heading into the far turn, sparred then could not quite quicken with the winner past the five sixteenths, chased past the three sixteenths and weakened. GREY FLANNEL BOSS popped open the gate when a bit fractious, bobbled at the start, steadied near the five eighths and faded. GOTTA HAVE A GUY steadied at the break, lost ground four wide through the backstretch, edged up a bit nearing the far turn, swung seven wide for the drive and gave way.
