Footnotes
BIG BIG STAR chased the pace two wide down the backstretch, took the lead on the far turn, opened up approaching the stretch, was hooked in deep stretch but got the good bob. CHAT BLANC raced forwardly in the two path on the far turn, closed between horses, led near the finish and just missed in a game effort. SUNSHINE FROLIC , four wide the first turn, moved up in the three path on the far turn, had aim on the lead in upper stretch and flattened out. DR. HYDE , a forward factor in the two path entering the far turn, steadied lacking room near the five sixteenths pole and rallied. CHUCK ADAMS , well placed along the rail down the backstretch, remained inside horses on the far turn and lacked the necessary rally. BETWEEN THE COVERS trailed to the far turn, circled five wide on the turn and passed tired horses. GOOD KNIGHT NILE , rank approaching the first turn, raced in the four path on both turns and was steadied lacking room in mid stretch. SILVERBULLETTWENTY broke slowly, raced five wide on the turns and was no factor. ROLLERCOASTER MAN raced inside horses throughout and weakened. BALLYHOO PRINCE sped to the early lead, mvoed to the inner rail on the first turn, showed speed to the stretch and faltered.
