WHISPERING SEA stalked the pace inside horses down the backstretch, eased out four wide at the head of the stretch, drifted in and bumped with STILL GAME when taking the lead near the eighth pole and held sway under urging. COMPASS RISES , patiently handled along the inner rail down the backstretch and on the far turn, swung out approaching the eighth pole and rallied. ROMANTIC STORY showed speed along the inner rail to the far turn, moved to the two path on the far turn, steadied in tight quarters between horses near the eighth pole then gamely rallied. STILL GAME , a forward factor outside horses down the backstretch, advanced three wide on the far turn, bid for the lead in upper stretch, drifted out and bumped with the winner in mid stretch and finished willingly. ABSTRACT MOMENT chased the pace, steadied in close quarters entering the far turn, swung wide leaving the bend and flattened out. KAPATUDE showed speed, saved ground on the far turn, remained along the rail in the stretch, steadied in close quarters near the eighth pole and weakened. NEON CITY , wide on the turns, passed tired horses. FIRE AT MIDNIGHT , shuffled back soon after the start, was outrun. BELLA MAMA was no factor. KATAKANA was not a factor.
