Footnotes
BY THE GLASS , bumped at the break, recovered and relaxed in a forward spot four wide, dropped in a bit and bid three wide mid way on the final turn, dueled outside BAILINTIN from there, got the better of that one near mid stretch, spurted clear then held sway under a solid drive. HOW SWEET SHE IS , jostled at the break, regrouped and dropped inside early to rate close to the pace, edged up into the far turn and tracked off heels, came out for a clear run in upper stretch and closed steadily. BAILINTIN took command early, secured the inside and set a pressured pace, braced for an outer bid near the five sixteenths, sparred to the inside of the winner from the quarter pole to past mid stretch then stayed on with good effort to the wire. SEARCH , three wide prompting outside the leader, dropped in a path with futile chase past the five sixteenths, stayed willingly to mid stretch then faded. BOSSY BOOTS settled off the inside, swung five wide while under a ride into the stretch but failed to kick on. DUCHESS OF DESTIN stumbled at the break and lost her rider. There was a stewards' inquiry into the start. No action was taken.
