Footnotes
BALA DE PLATA sprinted to the front in the two path leaving the first turn, controlled the pace, opened up in upper stretch, prevailed under urging and switched to his left lead near the sixteenth pole. DANCING DENAE , rated back soon after the break, skimmed the inner rail entering the stretch, remained on his left lead through the lane and rallied. WILD WARRIOR lacked speed, raced three wide on both turns, drifted in near the eighth pole and gained third. OUR DAY WILL COME moved to the inner rail on the first turn, chased the winner, drifted out for the drive and weakened. G Q WORTHY bobbled slightly at the start, stalked the pace outside horses down the backstretch, faltered leaving the far turn and was eased late. CONCARNEAU , reluctant to load into the starting gate, hugged the rail in a forward position down the backstretch and faltered on the far turn. PARKES dropped back entering the far turn.
