Footnotes
TOOLPUSHER , bumped by JOEY TICKLES leaving the starting gate, steadied when forced in by SINCERITO soon after the break, rated behind horses on the turn, advanced in the two path between rivals in mid stretch, swung outside near the sixteenth pole, closed determinedly and was up approaching the finish. GENTLE BREEZE hugged the inner rail disputing the pace and faded late. TIK TOK DADDY dueled outside GENTLE BREEZE and faded in the late going. UPSIDEDOWN MAN circled horses on the turn, was four wide entering the stretch, drifted to the eighth path in upper stretch and offered a late gain. ELUSIVE IMAGE , reluctant to load into the starting gate, chased the pace in the two path around the turn and flattened out. C C GOLDRUSH , four deep chasing the pace around the turn, moved to the seven path in upper stretch and lacked a rally. JOEY TICKLES bumped the winner when coming out at the break, was behind a wall of horses in mid stretch, swung to eight path near the sixteenth pole and passed tired foes. SINCERITO drifted in leaving the starting gate, chased the pace three wide and gave way. TWIST 'N TWIRL chased the pace racing along the inner rail and gave way in upper stretch. BLACKWATER FALLS broke sluggishly and trailed.
