Footnotes
CONQUERTHOSEWECAN appeared to hit the outer portion of her stall then bobbled outward, regrouped and edged up four deep to track the pace, dropped in a bit and took closer order leaving the three eighths, ranged up to engage the leader with a quarter to go, failed to initially quicken with the leader as that one spurted away soon into the stretch, stayed on under asking to pursue past the furlong grounds, came back in dogged fashion to re engage a sixteenth out, took over soon after and drove clear. DELRAY prompted the pace two wide and under rating, took a short lead after a half, thwarted the first outer challenge from the winner nearing the lane, shook clear after being put to serious asking, dug back in when taken on nearing the sixteenth pole, dueled then gave way grudgingly. NANCY MARY , forwardly placed three wide between foes, remained between runners past the five sixteenths, shifted out some in upper stretch then churned on with interest to gain the show. PERSIAN quickly gained inside foes near the five eighths and stalked, awaited room from the five sixteenths to upper stretch, eased to work between runners near mid stretch, shifted in some then flattened out very late. OVER MY CENTS , two wide between foes, needed more. ITSAMONSTAMASH stumbled at the break, moved up behind horses then was taken wide, chased four to five wide past the five sixteenths and faded. DIANE LEE , away alertly, set a pressured pace towards the inside, ceded command after a half, stayed on to chase into the lane then weakened.
