Footnotes
BLAME THE TUX chased the pace outside CARD TRICK, engaged that one in upper stretch, dueled and got the bob. CARD TRICK , clear soon after the break, set the pace along the rail, was hooked in upper stretch and battled gamely. KING COVEE bumped with MISSION MAN leaving the starting gate, circled the far turn three deep, floated to the four path in upper stretch and rallied mildly. HOLD OUT , four wide the first turn, chased the pace three wide around the far turn, lugged in near the three sixteenths pole and weakened. ITALIAN SYMPHONY stayed along the inner rail on both turns, swung to the five path in upper stretch and came up empty. YERCAN MARO (ARG) , reluctant to load into the starting gate, was four deep entering the first turn, remained well off the inner rail and was not a factor. JAMESTOWN stayed inside horses through out and was no factor. MISSION MAN bumped with KING COVEE at the break then was outrun. HAPPY JAUNT , checked in traffic approaching the first turn, was eased late after always outrun. COVERT KAT , rank soon after the break, chased the pace, hugged the inner rail around the far turn, faltered, pulled up soon after the finish and walked off.
