Footnotes
DOC LINKOUS , bumped by DIVINE CHILD leaving the starting gate, prompted the pace outside CATTIVO RAGAZZO, secured command near the eighth pole then drove clear. WORCESTER broke a bit sluggishly, stayed in the two path around the turn, bulled his way to the outside approaching the sixteenth pole and rallied. LADDIE DANCE , three deep chasing the pace around the turn, dropped back a bit in upper stretch then finished gamely. CATTIVO RAGAZZO bobbled leaving the starting gate, sped to the early lead, saved ground on the turn, weakened and drifted out approaching the sixteenth pole. GREEN BEANS circled the turn three wide, was floated out in mid stretch and finished willingly. UNCLE CAT , a forward factor along the inner rail around the turn, eased off the fence in upper stretch and was steadied lacking room approaching the sixteenth pole. OPTICAL BIJOU , no factor, swung to the five path at the head of the stretch, drifted in near the eighth pole and showed some late interest. DIVINE CHILD bore out and bumped the winner at the start, raced four deep on the turn and weakened. MASAKADO bobbled leaving the starting gate, trailed and was eased. An objection by the rider of UNCLE CAT against CATTIVO RAGAZZO for alleged interference inside the eighth pole was not allowed.
