Footnotes
ALWAYS FORWARD broke outward and was away a bit slow, corrected and settled off the pace while removed from the inside, gathered momentum past the five sixteenths then shifted out to about the six path into the stretch, made a grinding run under pressure outside rivals, joined the fray a sixteenth, battled outside LOOKING FOR WATER through the final fifty yards and just got up. LOOKING FOR WATER rated back from between runners nearing the first turn, settled off the pace and to the inside of the winner early on, worked outward past the three sixteenths, closed between runners to gain a slim advantage near the sixteenth pole, kept on gamely to the inside of ALWAYS FORWARD but was nipped at the wire. MARLEY'S GHOST was steadied along when keen saving ground through the backstretch run, bumped with an outer foe looking for room near the three eighths, eased out to take closer order past the five sixteenths, forged clear under a drive in mid stretch, could not contain outer foes leaving the sixteenth pole and faded. SWEET TALIA , away alertly, prompted the pace three to four wide, was pushed along past the five sixteenths, remained in touch in mid stretch but failed to seriously go on through the final sixteenth. GOLDEN HEART took over early, set a rated pace towards the inside, was pressured soon into the stretch, fought on past mid stretch then weakened late. CATCH THE KITTEN settled in the clear, shifted out with aim past the five sixteenths, moved up a bit nearing mid stretch then flattened out. CONGRESS HALL prompted the pace two to three wide, failed to kick on leaving the far turn, was bumped and in tight soon while between rivals soon after and faltered.
