WATCH ME SPARKLE tracked inside, waited around the far turn, was cued to bid in the two path passing the quarter, swung from the three path into the lane, took command while tipping into the two path nearing the eighth pole, and drew clear. HONOR OUR COUNTRY set the pace inside, was roused midway around the far turn, lost the lead from the two path in upper stretch, had to alter outward passing the eighth pole, but was 2nd best. IAMDEPENDINGONYOU raced off the pace in the three path, was ridden from the two path around the far turn, and finished evenly up the rail down the lane for show. DISNEY BELLE pressed in the two path, bid under a drive in the three path midway around the far turn, but retreated down the stretch. BAY WEST broke out at the start, stalked in the three path, was ridden in the four path around the far turn, but yielded at the top of the lane. JUDY G stumbled at the start, trailed in the four path and never menaced, then was eased thru the stretch. SHOULDA KNOWN rated inside but gave way, then was eased thru the stretch. AFTER A STEWARDS INQUIRY AS WELL AS AN OBJECTION BY THE RIDER OF HONOR OUR COUNTRY AGAINST THE RIDER OF WATCH ME SPARKLE FOR INTERFERENCE AROUND THE EIGHTH POLE, WATCH ME SPARKLE WAS DISQUALIFIED FROM FIRST AND PLACED SECOND FOR TIPPING INTO THE PATH OF HONOR OUR COUNTRY PASSING THE EIGHTH POLE CAUSING THAT FOE TO HAVE TO ALTER OUTWARD.
