Footnotes
BROTHER CONWAY broke inward bumping a rival, corrected and edged up four deep to join the pace fray near the half, emerged in a duel outside EL DIVINO NINO leaving the far turn, gained a slim lead soon after, continued to spar into the lane, lugged in after clearing in mid stretch then was fully extended to hold sway. JOLLY BY GOLLY gained a nice ground saving spot leaving the chute and tracked the leading quartet heading towards the turn, eased out to work between runners mid turn, shifted further out to pursue in upper stretch then closed in steadily through the final sixteenth. SELF TAUGHT , well off the contested pace while saving ground, angled out with run and worked four wide between rivals into the lane, straightened away and churned on while on his left lead. EL DIVINO NINO rated close three wide off the early duelers, bid three wide between foes past the five eighths, dueled to the inside of the winner around the turn to upper stretch, chased on past mid stretch then weakened late. MAGIC SPIN , bumped at the break, was taken wide soon after and lagged back, remained well wide and came up empty. HATCH disputed the early pace outside MASEN (GB), raced between runners nearing the half, failed to quicken on with the leaders past the three eighths, chased three wide into the lane, shifted in and faded. LET'S HAVE A PARTY had an overland trip, chased to the quarter pole and weakened. MASEN (GB) sped to the front and secured the inside, dueled inside under early rating, was overtaken into the turn, chased past the five sixteenths then faltered. This race had a timing discrepancy or malfunction and was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate time.
