CHICA COMPETITIVA set the early pace and was well handled into the turn, drew off in upper stretch then rider lost his whip in mid stretch and was under strong handling to hold sway in the final strides. SPIRIT OF VETERANS settled early then rallied three wide on the turn, was gaining ground in the stretch to finished well in the end. UPTOWN JIVE raced four wide into the turn, rallied in upper stretch but was no menace in late stretch. CHIP ALTERNATIVE was unhurried early then inside into the turn, rallied in upper stretch and angled out to be four wide in mid stretch and was gaining ground in the end. KLASSY ROSE CHROME raced three wide on the turn then made a bid but failed to menace. MAYPEARL broke in at the start then was inside on the turn and faltered in the drive. EAGLE VISION chased the early pace while two wide into the turn, was used up and gave way. LUCKY GLITTER broke in at the start and trailed throughout.
