Footnotes
PAINTBRUSH was never far off the pace, advanced four wide entering the far turn, bid willingly, dueled late and proved best. SAN MATEO KAT was sent to the front to set the pace, responded when challenged to duel late and was outfinished in a game effort. CASHMERE DANCER raced close to the pace, shifted out on the turn, closed steadily and gained late to earn show. MIDNIGHT LADY was unhurried early, saved ground to the second turn, angled, found her best stride late and was gaining for show. MISSION BELLE settled near the inside, bid to get within range and lacked the needed late response. IN OPEN COURT held a good position along the inside, had nothing left for the drive and faded through the stretch. ALLIACEOUS was unhurried early, lacked a bid and failed to menace. LA VIKINA stalked the pace to the second turn, weakened and faded through the stretch.
