UNDER CONTRACT soon took the lead shadowed by an outside rival setting the pace from off the rail, moved clear up the backstretch, was under urging through the lane, held sway while being kept to task. TIZ ANOTHER BUNNY bobbled ever so slightly at the start, tracked inside and in behind the leader, moved out a bit in the stretch, was second best. COUNTTHECARATS broke outwardly then veered in just after the start bumping a rival, dropped back off the leader then made a move from between foes four wide on the turn reaching striking distance, flattened out in deep stretch losing the place. HANK HILL was bumped just after the start, pressed the eventual winner briefly then dropped back, chased three wide on the turn, shifted out in upper stretch and kept on. GONNABEAGOODDAY was bumped at the start, switched out off the inside after the opening furlong, raced rank in behind runners up the backstretch, steadied on heels slightly nearing the half, went three to four wide in behind runners on the turn, failed to rally. EIGHT SEVEN MAGIC chased mid-pack two to three wide, dropped back and faded. BRINK OF WAR broke a step slowly, bumped a rival and was in tight at the start, moved out and advanced outside foes five wide early on the turn, could not sustain the effort and faded in the stretch. FALCON QUEST lacked early speed soon dropping back to last, was never near enough to threaten.
