Footnotes
KENTUCKY OUTLAW broke a step slow, moved up outside into early contention, pulled and was steadied a bit on the first turn, pulled while stalking close up outside on the backside, then bid two wide entering the far turn, took over nearing the quarter pole, responded when roused, kicked clear and held well under urging. COOL INTENTIONS tracked close up on the inside, checked in tight at the five furlong marker, continued to track on the inside, moved up two wide on the far turn, rallied inside in the stretch run and dug in gamely to earn the place spot. PASCALINE raced four wide early, stalked outside a rival, bid three wide on the far turn, went four wide past the quarter pole, rallied outside and was outfinished for second. LORDSHIP raced off the pace inside, two wide on the far turn, came four wide into the stretch and had no rally. BABY DUKES raced off the pace with an inside trip and failed to threaten. DEAR CHAIRMAN set the pace on the inside, dueled with the winner on the far turn and faded. HARRIGAN raced two wide off the pace, three wide on the far turn and did not factor. Trainer's Objection by the runner up against the winner was dismissed.
