Footnotes
ONE FINE WINE was bumped at the start, settled nicely close up on the inside, tracked on the turn, bid between rivals at the quarter pole, rallied in the two path, took over, responded when asked, finished willingly and pulled away under urging. GOLDEN RING set the pace on the inside, dueled past the quarter pole, dug in gamely on the rail in the stretch run and held well for second. GOONIE stalked close up two wide, chased on the far turn, angled out at the eighth pole and rallied mildly. BET ON BETH pulled in the early stages, raced off the pace inside, chased on the far turn and closed belatedly. I CAN EXPLAIN was bumped at the start, pressed the pace racing two wide, chased three wide at the quarter pole and weakened. EASTER MILLIE broke through the gate but did not get loose, then raced off the pace, drifted wide entering the first turn, settled two wide off the pace and failed to threaten. HAVE A HAPPY broke open the gate prior, was forced wide entering the first turn, settled off the pace inside and did not factor. ME SO LUCKY was off slowly, sluggish early and outrun.
