Footnotes
PERSISTEN raced three wide early, settled off the rail, off the pace, stalked three wide on the backside, bid three wide entering the far turn, took over, drew clear under urging and coasted the final yards. BAD BOY BUTCH stalked close up outside, bid between rivals on the far turn, could not go with the winner, then dug in late to save the place spot. DOWN THE LINE raced off the pace, was asked for run at the half mile marker, moved up on the far turn, came wide and rallied mildly outside in the stretch. IRISH INDYGO was off slowly, pulled in the early stages, made an early move between horses into contention on the clubhouse turn, took over, dueled inside on the far turn and tired. DON D FORTYSIX set the early pace on the inside, then tracked and gave way on the far turn.
