Footnotes
WHISKEY DECISION raced off the pace, between rivals on the first turn, then tracked on the inside, saved ground on the far turn, made a rail run turning for home, took over, kicked clear and finished willingly for the win. MAGGIE GO (ARG) led in the early stages racing off the inside, then settled into a tracking position two wide, bid on the far turn, dueled between horses in upper stretch, dug in gamely in the final sixteenth and earned the place spot. OZARA (IRE) raced off the pace inside, made a strong four wide run into contention passing the quarter pole, dug in gamely outside rivals in the stretch drive and was outkicked. FIVE TOWNS (GB) raced three wide on the first turn, stalked outside, chased between rivals on the far turn, made a mild rail bid in upper stretch, then weakened. DAMASO vied leaving the chute, took over to set the pace on the inside, dueled on the far turn and faded.
