CANUTO was bumped at the start, moved up early to stalk racing two wide, bid two wide on the turn, dueled into the stretch, put a head in front at the eighth pole, then dug in gamely outside and kept the edge to prevail. MYSTICAL MERLIN was bumped at the start, set the pace on the inside, dueled with CANUTO on the turn, dug in gamely on the rail in the stretch run and battled to the finish. VINO'S VALENTINE stalked close up outside early, chased the leaders on the turn, lacked a bid and finished evenly. DISOBEDIENT BULL was bumped at the start, raced off the pace, chased on the turn and tired. ALPHADINI was outrun.
