AMERICAN UNITY raced two or three wide off the pace, moved up midway on the turn, came six wide into the stretch, rallied outside, dueled with LATE CALL past the sixteenth marker and prevailed in a driving finish. LATE CALL was bumped at the start, raced off the pace inside, angled out at the quarter pole, came five wide into the lane, rallied in tandem with AMERICAN UNITY, dueled and dug in gamely to the finish. FAIR HAIRED BOY bobbled and was bumped at the break, raced off the pace with an inside trip, advanced inside on the far turn, moved up behind horses entering the stretch, lacked room at the furlong marker, found a path and closed gamely between horses to the wire. RIGHTHERE RIGHTNOW raced off the rail, off the pace, angled out entering the stretch and finished well outside for fourth. QUISTMER was bumped at the start, tracked on the inside, waited for room while saving ground, slipped through on the rail entering the stretch, made an inside bid and was outkicked.
