SAND PIPES stalked two wide, bid three wide on the far turn, dueled, led into the stretch, kicked clear and held well under urging. TEE AT ONE raced two wide off the pace, chased on the far turn, came three wide into the lane, rallied outside and finished well for place honors. TOM COLLINS stalked close up two wide, then pressed the pace, bid between rivals on the far turn, was outkicked and saved the show spot. FLASH FROZEN dwelt at the break, was outrun early, caught up to the field entering the clubhouse turn, then advanced two wide, chased three wide on the far turn and rallied outside in the stretch. SEE THE TRUTH tracked on the inside, chased inside on the far turn and tired. SHY DA RUNNER set the pace on the inside, dueled on the far turn and faded. BEAN MACHINE raced off the pace inside and did not factor. After a Stewards' Inquiry into the start, the race was declared official.
