Footnotes
PAGEANT PRINCESS raced off the pace between rivals, advanced at the quarter pole, angled out, rallied three wide passing the furlong marker, closed willingly under urging and moved clear under confident handling late. MEXICAN SUGAR stalked the pacesetter, chased on the turn, rallied two wide into the stretch, dug in gamely between horses in the final furlong and earned the place spot. STORMY MITOLE set the pace racing with a clear lead, dug in along the rail in the stretch run and was outfinished. REE NEE'S SIX raced three wide off the pace, chased on the turn and had no rally. I BELIEVE IN MAGIC was off a bit slow, raced off the pace inside, steadied along the rail on the turn and failed to threaten.
