RABBIT HOUND took command soon after the start, set the pace toward the inside under light restraint, asked along late second turn, headed a furlong out, found more to battle back and regain the advantage in a game effort. CASHMEUP forwardly placed while four wide into the first turn, pressed, wrested control, outkicked between horses. LUNA VIEJA in the second flight early inside, moved out, three wide and between horses into the lane, lost some ground to the top two into the lane, slowly getting back to that pair late. FIREBALL BIRDIE in the second flight while between horses early, in some traffic then waited briefly behind the wall of leaders into the lane, challenged briefly while continuing inside with a furlong to run, failed to sustain that effort to the wire. ICE EXPRESS off slowly then was bothered, raced back early as a result, moved up with a five wide move into a forward position before a half, vied into lane, weakened in the run to the wire. BEN FRANKLIN in mid pack while well wide into the first turn, four wide onto the backstretch, four wide again by late in the final turn, came up empty for the stretch run. BEN DREAMING void of speed, continued back far turn, picked off a few tiring rivals while never a threat. REBELIOUS fell back to trail after the start, lodged a mild middle move to improve the middle half then fell back once again through the lane. J T'S IMAGINATION showed little in remaining back throughout. FREE AGAIN off a step slow, rank, steadied late first turn, remained back.
