GOOD LIKE MAGIC broke running, showed the way through the first turn toward the inside, continued to set the pace the middle half, came in the two path for the drive, kicked clear late. STAND PROUD lacked speed while moving out to be four wide onto the backstretch, continued back, advanced steadily through the second turn, fanned five wide into the stretch, rallied for the place while unable to get to the winner. DR. SOULFIRE back off the pace three wide in the first turn, moved closer three to four wide into the stretch, lacked clear room between horses upper stretch, moved out, mild close to be in time for the show. SEAS OF NORMANDY forwardly placed three wide, lodged a mild bid while again in the three path late in the second turn, faltered in the final furlong to lose a couple of positions. GOLD BARON settled behind the pace while inside, continued to save ground into the second bend, waited through much of that turn, came up empty when clear for the drive. CORREDOR in some traffic into the first turn when just behind the pace, remained within striking distance, four wide exiting the final turn, also lacked a closing kick. EUCLID AVENUE stumbled at the start, got out into the first turn to be six wide, continued back and outside, got out again in the final turn, six wide into the lane, improved position. STAR NATION fell back to trail after the start, continued to lag the middle half, passed tiring horses after the issue had been decided. FETCHS BRAHM saved ground to no avail. MYSTIFIER dwelt at the start and was never close. FROST ALERT pressed the winner from the outside for six furlongs and stopped. VERACRUZIN in mid pack early while four wide, also stopped in the second bend, fell far back and jogged in.
