ONTHESTAGE unhurried early while angling in a bit to save some ground into the first turn,contjnued back, closer in some traffic turning for home in the two path,continued to be surrounded by horses in midstretch, hit a small opening with a sixteenth remaining and proved best in a gutsy performance. MUMAYAZ away in good order, showed the way in the two path through the first turn, continued to set a pressured pace the middle half mile, still in command in deep stretch, narrowly yielded to the winner late in game fashion. TALKLESSWORKMORE off a step slow, raced back and off the inside, advanced four wide into contention through the second turn, lost some ground to the top two into the lane, could not quite get back to that pair late while gaining the nod for the show spot. MENA forwardly placed while along the inside, continued to track the leader up the backstretch, saved ground once again through the second bend, bid closer inside with a furlong to run, outkicked while remaining on the rail. TODDCHERO pressed the leader from the outside throughout, looked poised to strike the final furlong but yielded from between horses in the late going. I'M MCDREAMY veered out at the break to be last to leave, raced in some traffic when near the back first turn, swung out five wide turning for home and improved a bit while not a serious threat. HERN went one paced throughout while racing toward the inside. SPECIAL DISPATCH settled off the pace inside, moved closer from between horses briefly midway on the second turn then faltered in the drive. HAPPY STRIKE off a step slow and remained back while four wide into the stretch. GUNOE within striking distance while three wide, encountered some traffic midway on the second turn then began to give way into the stretch. LIAM'S JOURNEY bobble, off a step slow, raced in mid pack while off the inside, faded after five furlongs.
