HONOR CAT outrun in the early going toward the inside, moved out, four wide far turn, floated out five wide into the stretch, ground on outside, in time. THESTRAL vied three wide into the first turn, dueled in the two path the middle half, showed the way into the stretch, came out to bother a couple of rivals in midstretch, was righted then was caught late. MALIBU SMART broke on top, fell back off the lead flight, tracked up the backstretch, moved out into the two path and split rivals turning for home, closer in midstretch then lacked an additional challenge to the wire. LUCY GOT GAME with the early pace inside, fell back midway on the first turn, moved out, in some traffic second turn when creeping closer, angled four wide into the lane floating the winner out a bit, bothered with a furlong to run when SULWE was forced out by THESTRAL, finished up mildly afterward. SULWE settled off the pace and the inside, advanced four wide then challenged in the three path late in the final turn, between horses midstretch when bothered by THESTRAL, steadied and fell back. VINOBELLO vied up front early between foes, moved to the inside to duel the middle half, weakened in the drive. SENSIBLE CHOICE last to leave, continued to trail, not a threat in picking off a single faltering foe. YO PUEDO finished early, well back. FOLLOWING A STEWARDS' INQUIRY REGARDING THE STRETCH RUN, THESTRAL WAS DISQUALIFIED FROM SECOND AND PLACED FIFTH.
