Footnotes
BRIGHT SPARK settled off the pace and the inside, advanced on the leaders four wide late in the final turn, extended duel to the wire on the outside, proved narrowly best while fully extended. KEEN CAT vied up front through the first turn four wide, held a narrow advantage while continuing outside the middle half, hooked up with the winner in upper stretch, dueled to the wire inside that one, proved stubborn to the end in a good effort. UNSTABLE PRINCE with the pace from the start, vied between horses up the backstretch, closest to the inside turning for home, could not keep up with the top pair through the lane, saved the show. POLTERER set or forced the pace three wide, also failed to keep up with the top two through the lane, outkicked for the show. MIDNIGHT CHANNEL went one paced throughout while racing toward the inside. FACE VALUE lost footing at the start, moved out to be three wide onto the backstretch, continued in the three path second turn, improved a bit in the drive without posing a significant threat. BOURBON LIFE lacked speed outside, four wide through both turns, failed to rally. HARD TO FATHOM vied up front while along the inside for five furlongs, gave way.
