GLORIETTE broke on top, set the pace along the inside, shook off nearest pursuer exiting the turn, drew well clear under steady handling. XYNGIN SPITFIRE off a step slow, lacked early foot as a result, moved out, rallied five wide through the turn, rider appeared to strike the nose of SWEET MOTHER MARY with a right handed crop past the furlong marker while drifting a bit, continued willingly to the wire to be clear for the second spot. SWEET MOTHER MARY in mid pack inside, moved inside by midway on the turn, steered back out for the drive, evenly paced in midstretch when appeared to be struck by the crop of the rider of the runner up, shied, could not keep up with that same rival to the wire. DIVINE GAL off a step slow, saved ground through the early part of the turn when with the main body, went evenly through the stretch in lacking a serious closing bid. SPIRIT RULES chased the winner off the inside for a half, tired in the drive. LAURA BRANIGAN exchanged multiple bumps with OPPOSITIVE THE CROWD just after the start, raced in some traffic early turn, failed to menace through the lane. OPPOSITE THE CROWD bumped with LAURA BRANIGAN several times after the start, raced four wide through the turn, also found lacking in the drive. COLLECTED GLORY void of speed, came three wide for the drive, failed to muster a closing response. MISS SHIPMAN forwardly placed for three furlongs while racing three wide, began a steady fade thereafter. SUGAR BELL forwardly placed while racing four wide up the backstretch and into the turn, gave way. FOLLOWING A CLAIM OF FOUL BY THE RIDER OF SWEET MOTHER MARY AGAINST THE RUNNER UP FOR ALLEGED INTERFERENCE IN MIDSTRETCH, NO ACTION AS TAKEN.
