Footnotes
GETTINBY off the early pace toward the inside, closer while steered out late in the turn, stalled through upper stretch, roused, accelerated and finished full of run to be be quickly clear late. A P RULY broke alertly, showed the way early, shook clear while in hand turn and into the stretch, proved no match for the winner late, remained well clear of the others. DAWN STRATEGY in mid pack and outside early, three to four wide turn, closest to the top two with a furlong to run, could do little with that pair to the wire, finished up best of the rest. PEA EYE in the main body while also well out in the strip, floated out five wide into the stretch, went evenly the final furlong in lacking a closing response. VINEY came out just after the start to bother an outer rival, was straightened while lacking early speed, angled out in traffic to be three wide into the lane, improved position while not a serious threat. DENALI LIGHTNING steadied just after the start in traffic, dropped inside, improved a bit while saving ground into the lane then made little impact in the run to the wire. BUTCH hesitated at the start then bore out to race wide up the backstretch, five to six path through the lane, passed tiring rivals while not a threat. GO GO RO RO in the second flight while three wide, had little for the drive. CUTTING CLASS bobbled at the start to be off a step slow, raced back, in some traffic while four wide late in the turn, picked off a couple of tiring rivals while remaining back. TO TOO TWENTYTWO forwardly placed early, gave way in the turn while racing in the two path. CAPTAIN HAMAZING prompted the runner up early from along the inside, backed up through the lane. PERFECTO fractious in the post parade, bothered just after the start, finished early.
