MANTA REY behind the early pace off the inside, advanced three wide to challenge into the stretch, vied past the furlong marker then kicked clear in the the late going under firm handling. GOT THUNDER broke back, lacked speed inside, followed BRON AND BROW through along the rail turning for home, in some traffic midstretch, moved back toward the inside and proved game for the second spot. JACKMAN broke well, forwardly placed while off the inside, four wide into the lane, idled through upper stretch then displaced some mild late interest to miss the place. BRON AND BROW in mid pack and inside, made a good move along the rail to wrest control into the stretch, hung the final sixteenth to lose some position. SYNTHESIS fell back to trail after the start, fanned five to six wide turning for home, displayed only mild interest while wide to improve slightly. CHIPOFFTHEOLDBLOCK lacked early foot, came three wide into the stretch, lacked a closing punch. WIND OF CHANGE (BRZ) off a step slow, four wide through the turn when lacking speed, remained back in the drive. HI YAH away in good order, dueled early off the inside through a quick opening quarter, shook clear in the turn, faltered drive. VULCAN dueled toward the inside early through that quick opening quarter, stopped in the turn, trailed home.
