Footnotes
DYNAMIS vied up front while between horses for five furlongs, dueled through the final turn closest to but not on the rail, clear in to the stretch, drew out steadily to the wire while being kept to task. GLUCKSTADT off the pace while four wide through the first turn, continued outside and was four wide again through the second bend, rallied for the place to be clearly second best, no match for the winner. POINT BLANK three wide when forwardly placed first turn, joined the lead pack before a half in the four path, vied three wide through the second turn outside the winner, could not keep up with that one or contain the runner up in weakening through the stretch, clearly best of the others. INDEPENDENT PAUL in the second flight inside, got out and was five wide turning for home, went evenly through the lane. THANKS FRANK set the early pace in showing the way through the first turn in the two path, vied closest to the inside the second quarter, gave way along the rail far turn. CANDY CORN pinched back at the start, saved ground first turn, closer, in some traffic then steadied onto the backstretch, made little impact through the stretch. OUTLAW RUN broke in, raced four wide into the first turn, in some traffic when moving a bit closer onto the backstretch, raced three wide through the second turn when back, failed to muster a rally. REV TOO fell back to trail after the start and was always outrun.
