AMERICAN LAW moved closer after a half toward the inside, in some traffic into the far turn, moved out four wide turning for home, outside bid, edged clear late under firm handling. EASTSIDE COOL away in good order, set a pressured pace in the two path, gave ground grudgingly to the winner late, held sway for the place. BEYOND BEST forwardly placed outside the runner up, pressed the pace three wide, challenged when asked turning into the stretch, weakened from between horses in deep stretch while in just a bit tight. TRIDENT HIT settled behind the pace while racing outside, four wide through both turns, came up empty for the drive in lacking a closing punch. LOGICAL MYTH stumbled then ducked out at the break to spot the field several lengths, continued to trail until turning for home and three wide, passed some faltering foes while never a serious threat. GASOLINE lacked speed off rail, steered out five wide turning for home, failed to muster a rally. BRIGHT LEAF in tight just after the start, remained always back. CAMP DAVID forwardly placed and inside, began a steady fade after a half, far back, jogged in. FOLLOWING A STEWARDS' INQUIRY REGARDING THE RUN THROUGH DEEP STRETCH, NO ACTION WAS TAKEN.
