Footnotes
VIKING raced with the pace from the start inside, shook off a rival nearing midstretch and drove clear. LAMBO broke sharply, also raced with the lead flight up the backstretch outside, vied three wide turn, put a head in front briefly between calls in upper stretch, drifted out soon after, proved no match the final furlong, remained clear of the others. FIRST BID last away, raced back and outside, four to five wide into the lane, staged a mild rally well out in the strip to be along for the show. SIMOVIC in mid pack and well wide early, crept a bit closer while in the four path through the turn, lacked a further advance in flattening out through the lane. WHAT A BLESSING in early traffic soon after the start, lacked a closing bid while three wide through the turn. WISE DECISION forwardly placed while raced off the inside, had nothing for the drive. HANDSOME HERB broke back, lacked a closing response. GOLD MEMBER was finished after a half.
