OWN THE FIELD settled off the pace toward the inside first turn, moved out, closer outside of traffic late second turn, four to five wide into the stretch, outside bid past the furlong marker, fully extended to prove best. JUST ASK WATTS forwardly placed off the inside, pressed the pace the middle half, vied three wide into the lane, between horses and inside the winner past the furlong grounds, proved stubborn to the end. BIG DRINKER in mid pack while saving some ground first turn, moved closer in some traffic in the two path late in the second bend, not enough for the top two in the late going while remaining inside that pair at the wire. AIN'T THAT A KICK off a step slow, moved out and raced five wide through the first bend, remained well wide, five to six wide through the second bend, remained widest in the drive and finished with some belated energy to improve position significantly. MIGHTY MESSAGE broke alertly, showed the way along the inside, continued to set the pace through the final turn, came in the two path for the drive, faltered when headed by the top pair just inside the furlong grounds. PATCH O'BRIEN in the second flight early outside, moved closer four wide into a striking position through the second turn, lacked a late punch in the drive. MOON OVER EGBERT off a step slow, raced back just off the inside, three to four wide far turn, picked off some tiring rivals late after the issue had been decided. HUSKER BUTCH forwardly placed for six furlongs along the inside, had little left for the drive. HEY BOSS angled in a bit into the first turn, remained back. AARON off a step slow, raced back off the early pace, improved with a bit of a middle move five to six wide second turn, faded through the stretch. CAWKAB stumbled at the start, quickly recovered and assumed a forward position while three wide, caved in through the stretch. FIGHT'N READY fell back after the start, was always outrun while saving ground.
