BADDEST GOOD BOY away in good order, rated while setting a modest set of fractions, headed far turn, chased that rival into the stretch, regained the advantage when straightened for home, shook clear then held the runner up comfortably safe late. LAT LONG settled off the early pace toward the inside through the first turn, moved out a bit to be in the two path turning for home, shifted out a bit further when set down, slowly closing the gap on the winner late. GEWURZTRAMINER forwardly placed through the first turn while racing in the three path, put a head in front just before a half, briefly clear midway on the final turn, began to falter entering the stretch, proved no match for the runner up, comfortably saved the show. B D SAINTS off a step slow, four wide through the first turn when off the pace, evenly through the final bend in the three path, came up empty for the stretch run. SILVER HEIST broke back, raced back off the pace and the inside, three to four wide second turn, also lacked a significant closing response. ELUSIVE TARGET slipped a bit at the break, fell back to trail while three wide first turn, dropped inside for the run through the second bend, failed to rally. PAYNTER'S CANVAS vied early outside the winner, continued forward for the second quarter mile then gave way.
