PARAMOUNT PAYCHECK off a step slow, raced back early as a result, swept up four wide into contention by late in the turn, collared the leader when nearing the furlong marker, drove well clear. TWO DOLLAR EDDIE broke sharp, vied up front early along the inside, shook clear in the turn, offered little resistance to the winner the final furlong, lasted for the place. TIZMARKUS vied up front outside, three down to two path by late in the turn when falling back off the leader, outkicked by that one for the second spot. TIME ANDBEYOND off a step slow, moved out, came four wide out of the turn, improved position without posing a serious threat. DEVILS FORK off a step slow, trailed well back, swung out four wide turning for home and also bettered his position down the stretch. BOTE within striking distance early while along the inside, lacked a closing response in going one paced to the wire. FOUR O NINE in mid pack, moved inside late in the turn, lacked a closing response. MIRACLE MACK in the second flight while racing off the inside, three wide into the stretch, tired. MY RUSSIAN remained always back while four to five wide turning into the stretch. LAKE OF FIRE dwelt at the start, well back throughout and was not a factor. LITTLE RANDY in mid pack early, tired while racing off the inside. BIG COUNTRY BOY flashed speed while racing off the inside, stopped after a half.
