BIG CITY in the second flight while racing in the two path, continued to pursue the leader into the stretch, shifted out a bit and engaged that one from the outside inside the furlong marker, late duel, fully extended to gain the nod. SITKA broke sharp, set the pace in the two path up the backstretch, continued to show the way toward the inside turn, responded when confronted by the winner in keep stretch, held on doggedly to narrowly miss in a game effort. GOODASIWONSWAS forwardly placed along the inside, proved no match for the top two in the drive, fully extended to hold the place. GREAT RICHIE M one paced while racing toward the inside early, saved ground into the lane, also had little for the top pair in the run to the wire, outkicked for the show. LIGHTNING STRUCK failed to muster a closing response while racing outside. GUNFLASH last away, remained always back. ANTHONIAN lacked speed while racing outside, swung out five wide turning for home, came up empty for the stretch drive.
