THE WINE STEWARD broke alertly, pressed the pace while off the inside, continued to prompt the leader into the far turn, challenged that one from the outside turning for home, long duel to the wire, proved best while fully extended. PATRIOT SPIRIT away in good order, set the pace along the inside, responded when confronted by the winner exiting the final bend, dueled to the wire and proved stubborn to the end. LIBERAL ARTS in tight at the break to be last away, trailed well back, rallied three wide out of the final turn, not a threat to the top two. HENRO lacked early foot, displayed some mild interest while also racing three wide. RAISE CAIN in mid pack and off the inside, continued in even fashion in the two path and lacked a closing response. BRUNACINI stalked the price three to four wide, came up empty for the stretch run. SEIZE THE NIGHT void of speed, continued back then steadied between horses far turn, failed to better his position after recovering. INCA EMPIRE saved ground to no avail in failing to threaten. MACHINE GUN MAN pulled early along the inside when slow to settle first turn, began a steady fade after a half.
