Footnotes
MARSHSIDE MAMA outrun while outside, began to advance four wide into the far turn, challenged in the three path into the lane, drove well clear the final sixteenth while kept to pressure. TEMPLAR RED forwardly placed off the inside, prompted the leader early, engaged that one midway on the second turn, vied between horses and inside the winner into the lane, proved no match for that one, no match in the run to the wire. LADY COMMANDER settled off the pace in the two path early, moved inside and saved ground through the final bend, finished up best of the rest while continued along the rail stretch. SUPER ENTICING forwardly placed along the inside, in the second flight final turn, asked in the two path with just over a quarter remaining, lacked a closing punch. PEPPERS GIRLFRIEND lacked early foot off the inside, remained back, three to four wide through the final bend, improved position through the stretch without posing a major threat. INTERSTELLA took command into the first turn, set the pace toward the inside, faltered when headed by the top two in upper stretch. SARANAC LAKE chased the early leader in the three path, had nothing left for the drive. BLAZE ON off a step slow, remained back. MIESHA was finished after five furlongs, trailed home.
