Footnotes
PASS LINE broke with leaders outside, raced in the second flight while four wide up the backstretch, went after the leader and challenged three wide and between horses turning for home, edged clear and held the runner up safe late. AIRBORNE ELITE lacked early speed, angled out three wide late in the turn, rallied willingly to be well clear for the show while closing the gap on the winner. KONTEEKEE broke back, five to four wide move into contention through the turn, briefly challenged outside the winner, could not keep up with that one in chasing past the furlong marker, could not contain the runner up. BLUE LINE forwardly placed along the inside, two path into the stretch, went evenly in the drive in lacking a closing response. QUARRYMEN last to leave, raced back and inside, in some traffic turning for home, moved out a bit and improved position. IT'LL DO broke well, set the pace along the inside, offered brief resistance when challenged turning for home, faltered. LUCKY BIRD void of speed, came four wide out of the turn, improved slightly while not a serious threat. REDBIRD NATION remained back while four to five wide through the turn. STATLER forwardly placed early while three wide, began a steady retreat before a half. MR SEEKER finished early. IMPROBABLE FIRST in mid pack early toward the inside, was also done before four furlongs.
