Footnotes
BRODEUR took control from between horses after the start, a bit slow to settle into the first turn, set a pressured pace the middle half, shook clear late in the final bend, larger lead midstretch, enough left to last. CURVINO settled off the pace and the inside early, dropped to the inside for the second turn, moved back out, set down, finished with good energy to be quickly getting to the winner late. CAPO LUCA last away, trailed early of the inside, four wide into the stretch, rallied a bit through upper stretch to be closest to the winner with a furlong to run, finished up best of the rest. HANDSOME PANTS pressed the winner up front to that one's outside, fell back and lost contact with that one late in the final bend, continued gradually weakened through the stretch. FAST JOKER forwardly placed while racing three wide, had little left for the stretch run. BOUT TREE FIDDY settled off the pace and the inside, lacked response. OUT N OUT DISGRACE was finished early, far back.
