BOURBON HEIST lacked early foot outside, five wide into the turn, advanced four wide on the leaders through the turn, took over on the outside into the stretch, clear past the furlong marker, held the runner up safe late under steady handling. MACRON off a step slow, moved closer up the inside into the turn, shuffled in traffic early in the turn, moved out four wide by late in the turn, willingly midtrack while too late for the winner. MR BOB forwardly placed early three wide into the turn, advanced and put a head in front late in the turn in the two path, briefly raced on equal terms with the winner upper stretch then began to gradually weaken. MIDNIGHT PRANKS also forwardly placed in the run up the backstretch, three wide bid midway on the turn, also weakened through the stretch. ELI'S PROMISE pressed the issue early up the inside, shuffled back along the rail early turn, moved out a bit for the drive, went evenly to the wire. MIACOMET raced back off the pace while racing three wide, lacked a closing kick. EL REY DORADO set or forced the pace along the inside for four furlongs, backed up. GO WEST fell back to trail after the start, never a factor.
