Footnotes
BERMUDA BLITZ tracked behind the pace, asked along far turn, fell back, picked up and swung out five wide turning for home, outside bid when straightened for home, kicked clear. LEBOMBO off a step slow, void of early foot, continued back into the far turn, four wide into the lane, rallied, late bid for the place, gained nod outside. PAINT BALLER raced outside through the first turn when off the pace, four wide onto the backstretch, remained outside, advanced and challenged in the four path into the stretch, proved no match for the winner through the lane, narrowly missed the place. BROTHER TONY within striking distance early three wide, lodged a brief bid while once again three wide in the second turn while between horses, weakened in the drive. MAJOR MACK away in good order, dueled up front in the two path, faltered in the drive. WALSTIB broke on top, set or forced the pace along the inside, gave way turning for home. WINNING SONG remained always back to be always outrun.
