Footnotes
CLARET BERET forwardly placed inside, tracked the dueling leaders in the two path up the backstretch and into the far turn, angled out four wide late in that bend, challenged on the outside entering the stretch, worked way clear inside the furlong grounds, enough left to narrowly hold off the runner up late. UNDER THE PALMS settled off the pace in the two path, moved out a bit into the far turn, four wide midway on that bend when beginning to advance, continued that steady run through the lane to be getting to the winner to narrowly miss. CRAZY CAMI off a step slow, moved up and chased the two leaders off the inside, stalked that pair into the far turn, challenged three wide through that bend, vied into the lane inside the four wide wide, faltered the final furlong. LEMON MUFFIN lacked speed off the inside, lodged a four wide middle to challenge in the second turn, faltered in the drive to lose a couple of positions. MAJESTIC OOPS away in good order, alternated up front closest to the inside, weakened. C. C. HARBOR lacked early speed, made little impact while racing toward the inside. LEGALLY LUCKY off slowly and remained always back. XENA dueled up front while off the inside, first to blink in the far turn, continued to retreat through the lane.
