Footnotes
PRIDE'S PRINCE broke on top, got clear and to the inside, set all the pace, breather in the turn, remained clear through the stretch under steady handling. PUTTING EAGLE forwardly placed while covered up along the inside, patiently handled behind the winner through the turn, moved out for the drive, slowly closing the gap on that rival while well clear of the others. ARTHUR'S COURT lacked speed while toward the inside, steered out to the four path entering the stretch, along late for the show. TIP TOE JOE settled off the pace and the inside, angled out sharply to be four wide and bumping REAL BLUES exiting the turn, improved upper stretch then flattened out a bit late to be caught for the show. MCMUSIC prompted the winner from the outside to be four wide into the turn, moved closest to that one while angling a bit late in the bend, lacked a further advance through the stretch. REAL BLUES in mid pack outside, was floated out five wide by TIP TOE JOE turning for home while bumped by that same rival, lacked a closing response. JINXZI broke a step slow, raced back, two path through much of the final turn, picked off a couple of tiring rivals without posing a serious threat. HECKAMIGHTY hesitated at the start to spot the field a couple of lengths, trailed for a half and also passed some faltering rivals. MONTANA CAFE headed up the second flight while between horses, continued forward far turn then began to tire before a half midway on the bend. ARJUN FOR KARZ forwardly placed early off the rail, shuffled back in the two path into the turn, continued to fade to the wire. E MONEY squeezed at the break, was finished early.
