Footnotes
MONEY SUPPLY outrun early along the inside through the first turn, closer second turn, traffic late in the bend, angled out, four wide into the stretch, outside bid, drove clear late. GOLDEN GLIDER chased the leader in the three path, went after that one from the outside through the second turn, put a head in front approaching the furlong marker, drifted out steadily the next sixteenth as the winner was challenging, proved no match for that one late, held sway for the place. AUTO GLIDE settled off the pace toward the inside early, came three wide out of the final turn when within striking distance, was going evenly between the top two when bothered slightly by the drifting runner up then continued one paced to the wire to finish best of the rest. EMPIRE BUILDER broke on top, set the pace toward the inside, weakened when headed by the runner up in upper stretch. HAPPY STRIKE in tight to break back, continued to lack speed off the inside, fanned six wide into the stretch, staged a mild rally down the middle of the stretch. CALIBRATE in tight at the start to also break in arears, lacked speed inside, passed some tiring rivals while never a threat. HERO STATUS forwardly placed while four wide into the first turn, remained with striking distance the middle half, bothered while four to five wide in to the stretch, faded through the lane. LIPS SAY BLISS four wide into and through the first turn, raced back, five to six wide exiting the final bend, retreated down the stretch. HERN was finished early.
