MORALLY COMPLEX broke forwardly, contested the early pace three wide, dueled through the turn in the two path, shook clear in to the lane, kept to task. FLAT STORMIN off slowly, raced back early as a result, four wide advance through the turn, chased the winner past the furlong marker, could not get to that one late. AIR CASTLE broke a bit flat footed then was bothered by a troubled HONDURAS PASSION to be off slowly, void of speed, began to advance late in the turn, rallied three wide for the show, not a threat to the top pair. SOUTHERN SPEIGHT in mid pack toward the inside, in tight along the rail turning into the stretch, improved when clear through the lane. HONDURAS PASSION lunged through the gate at the break to be off slowly, raced back, three wide turn, rallied through the lane, improved position. JOYFUL JOSEPHINE fell back, moved out three wide midway on the turn, showed some belated interest to also better her position. SMOKE SHOW GIRL prompted the issue up front along the inside, weakened after a half. GRIZMO gradually weakened while racing toward the inside. ROSIE COTTON narrowly set a pressured pace toward the rail inside the winner for a half and gave way. SKY RAVEN forwardly placed while four wide up the backstretch, backed up through the stretch. ZANZORA fell back to trail after a quarter and was never a factor. LAST GASP off slowly, was finished after a half to trail home. FOLLOWING A STEWARDS INQUIRY REGARDING A BUSY START TOWARD THE OUTSIDE OF THE GATE, NO ACTION WAS TAKEN.
