BOOTH broke running, soon got clear, extended lead into turn, idled down to get a breather through the bend, shaken up for the drive, maintained daylight to the wire under steady handling. GIANT MISCHIEF behind the winner just off the inside up the backstretch, continued to pursue than one into the lane, set down for the drive, could do little to carve into the victor's advantage the final furlong, clearly second best. TEJANO TWIST last to leave, moved outside, raced four wide through the turn, managed a modest rally to annex the show, not a serious threat to the top pair. HAPPY IS A CHOICE moved bit closer after a furlong, evenly paced four wide through the turn, continued in even fashion through the stretch. CLOSETHEGAME SUGAR in the second flight while racing three wide, asked along late in the turn, had little left for the run to the wire. MILES AHEAD made little impact while racing off the inside. JAXON TRAVELER raced briefly in the second flight along the inside, began a steady retreat after a quarter, trailed home.
