Footnotes
SIR EXTON in the second flight while three wide, split foes when asked for run late in the second turn, challenged outside the leader past the furlong marker, wore that one down under steady handling. VADEN prompted the pace off the inside, closer then took over between horses turning for home, showed the way past the furlong marker then gave ground grudgingly to the winner late. HWY TWENTY RIDE with the early pace inside, fell back the middle half, fell back the middle half, moved out, came back for part of the show late while not a threat to the top two. RANCH HAND vied early off the inside, cleared the middle half, vied inside the runner up into the lane, gradually weakened while lasting for the dead heat third position. ARKY ROAD bothered at the start and again into the first turn, raced in mid pack, two path second turn when moving a bit closer, went evenly through the lane in lacking a closing punch. CRUE'S N CONTROL broke back, raced four wide through the first turn, moved inside and saved ground through the second turn, lacked a closing punch through the lane. BIG ANDY MORT last away, trailed early, four wide into the stretch, improved position without posing a serious threat. MORE MONEY MO in mid pack early, three wide in the turns, failed to muster a rally. ALL GREEN LIGHTS void of speed after breaking near the rear, in some traffic then moved four wide far turn, failed to rally. THE HIT KING ROSE was never involved. BUTCH broke out, rank early, stopped in the far turn, distanced through the stretch after losing contact with the field.
